The Canmore Eagles “Greenest Hockey club in the World” initiative is an opportunity to demonstrate how community enterprises can become leaders in the global climate crisis while leveraging their social position to increase resources to both the initiative and hockey operations.
The sport of hockey holds a special place in the hearts and minds of Canadians. This project seeks to disseminate both the best environmental practices and how to leverage these for increased resources laterally through minor hockey in Canada and vertically all the way to the NHL.
